Hi, I’m Danny Wall and I’m a videographer and photographer based in Perth, Western Australia.

I’m originally from the UK, and for many years worked as a carpenter since I’d left school.  I used my skills as a carpenter to earn enough money to travel the world extensively.  My travels have taken me to many countries and continents, Europe to Asia, South America, Africa and the Middle East to name a few.

A photo lasts a lifetime

Being out, alone in the middle of the night watching the milky way move through the night sky is still one of my favourite things to do.

I’m now fortunate to call this my chosen path in life, and I am passionate about creating meaningful content that instills passion in others, I believe everyone should do what they are passionate about, its important for us all to be fulfilled with life.

It was my love of photography whilst at the places as I travelled that sparked something inside of me

After years years of travelling on and off, returning home almost felt like it was a chore, it felt like having to go through this repetitive, mundane part of life to earn money to be able to escape again, this was more than holiday blues, I was unhappy with this life I had built for myself. I was earning fairly good money as a tradesmen, but I was truly lacking fulfilment in my everyday life, I was working endless hours doing a job that I no longer enjoyed and was really feeling the pain at the thought of doing this for the next 30 years, then one day I came across a video on YouTube ‘what if money was no object’ by a Philosopher called Alan Watts and this really made me begin to question the way I approached life. A couple of years later I was deep in the Amazon rainforest, In a fairly busy jungle town called Iquitos. Iquitos is the most isolated city on the planet that has no access by road. The only way in is by flight or a long boat ride along the Amazon river. What brought me here was really quite strange, but I felt like I was being pulled towards this adventure. In the 12 months previous to this, the mystery of plant medicine was repeatedly showing up in my life, I had no idea what it was, but there was this relentless desire to go and experience this, and although I felt this way, I still had no idea on the journey I was about to embark on.

I’d been doing lots of research, yet it was still this mysterious and almost folk-law type ceremony that happened in the middle of the jungle, where everyone experienced profound, individual experiences. I had no idea what I was in for, but there is no adventure quite like being in the Amazon and was eager to begin this journey

I was here to sit with a traditional Amazonian brew known as Ayahuasca, a highly psychedelic drink thats known for giving deep healing, hugely insightful experiences to the inner world to those brave enough to sit in ceremony.

Well, 10 days and 4 ceremonies later, and my life was turned upside down, Although most of these experiences are extremely personal, I left that retreat knowing that I can not continue to live the life I have been living. No longer could I endure working an unfulfilled, intense physical labouring job chasing material happiness.

“Dont be afraid to start all over again. You may like your new story better”

Photography and Videography is my passion and creative outlet.  It was like an awakening in me, I love that feeling when you capture something special, whether it be a moment between people or how incredible mother nature really is.

My personal life also involves community work and helping others through my work.  I’m heavily involved in The Human Excellence Project to give something back to the community I live and work in. This project is focused on pushing through comfort zones and creates a community that improves emotional, mental & physical well-being of the community.
